DY9 MASSAFORNIA

DY9 MASSAFORNIA (Massachusetts Compliant)

The Derya Arms DY9 MASSAFORNIA is a semi-auto pistol chambered in 9mm, engineered for Massachusetts compliance on the standard DY9 platform and sold with a 10-round magazine. Key differences include magazine release block (disconnect) to prevent firing without a magazine, and chamber load indicator on top of slide for visual round confirmation. It ships exclusively with a 10-round magazine and enhanced inclusions: one 10-round magazine, gun lock, guide rod, gun brush, Allen key, cleaning rod, Derya bag, user manual, WTTA flyer, and custom grey Styrofoam case with cutouts. The slide features a direct RMR cut, but the chamber load indicator requires the included RMR riser plate with longer screws for elevated mounting. It includes black nitride finish, polymer frame with four interchangeable backstraps (S, M, L, XL), and Truglo fiber optic hi-vis front (red) and rear (green) sights, plus one optic plate riser RMR.

Compatible Magazines

Ships with a 10-round magazine only, for Massachusetts and other states that limit capacity; supports compatible aftermarket where permitted, with same Glock compatibility notes as standard DY9 (G19/G17 mags work without magwell; most G19 with magwell, basepad recommended). Adhere to local limits.

Measurement of Thread (Holes) on Slide

As standard: 4mm x 0.7 thread (T-8 Torx heads).

Optic Plates

Direct RMR cut on slide; chamber load indicator prevents direct RMR mounting—use included RMR riser plate with longer screws. The riser is included as standard.

• Optic Plate Screws: M2x5.75mm (Pitch 0.2mm, Head Angle 150°)

Torque to 12–16 inch-pounds.

Grips

Four interchangeable backstraps (S, M, L, XL) included standard.

Safety Type

Adds magazine disconnect and chamber load indicator to standard firing pin block and anti-drop trigger block.

Frequently Asked Questions on DY9 MASSAFORNIA

Q: What are the key compliance modifications for the DY9 MASSAFORNIA? A: Magazine release block (disconnect) prevents firing without inserted magazine; chamber load indicator provides visual loaded-round confirmation. These meet Massachusetts requirements without impacting core function.
